چکیده

Methods. One hundred and sixteen patients with traumatic complete SCI were grouped according to the time elapsed after the injury (,3 days and .9 months) and the level of injury (above T5 and below T5): acute high (AH, n1⁄425), chronic high (CH, n1⁄426), acute low (AL, n1⁄420), and chronic low (CL, n1⁄445). Twenty-five patients without SCI served as a control group. Bispectral index (BIS) response, systolic arterial pressure (SAP), heart rate (HR), and plasma concentrations of catecholamines and arginine vasopressin were measured.

Effects of remifentanil and alfentanil on cardiovascular responses to tracheal intubation

Introduction: Laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation necessitate to start a surgery and induction of general anesthesia as well as the maintenance of the air way and to provide ventilation. However, Laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation may lead to hemodynamic response that appear with the symptoms of hypertension tachycardia, arrhythmia and myocardial ischemia and results in myocardial infarction...
